We are celebrating the completion of the final cell tower as part of the EORN Cell Gap Project in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. This means that all 18 new build towers and 7 co-locations (where providers share equipment on towers) are now in-service. 24 existing towers were also upgraded within the county as part of the project.
The Cell Gap Project is funded by the Government of Canada (Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada | Logement, Infrastructures et Collectivités Canada) and the Government of Ontario (Energy and Mines | Énergie et des Mines), plus the municipalities of the Eastern Ontario Wardens' Caucus, the Eastern Ontario Mayors' Caucus and Rogers Communications.
