Kristen Myers

Kristen has been a project manager with EORN for over three and a half years. While working with EORN she has been a key player in the execution and management of the EORN Cell Gap Project, as well as the creation of a large-scale regional housing plan. Currently, Kristen is working on supporting the roll out of decentralized water and wastewater systems to unlock development and housing potential across the region. Prior to joining the EORN team, Kristen worked briefly with the Eastern Ontario Leadership Council (EOLC) as well as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Windhoek, Namibia. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Queen's University, a post-degree major with distinction from Western University, and a master of arts degree in global governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs. She also holds a project management professional (PMP) designation through the Project Management Institute. Her overall strengths include research, policy development, governance, sustainable development and project management. Apart from her work, Kristen is also an avid traveler having worked, studied and volunteered in over 14 different countries, including South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Uganda, Rwanda, Italy, Spain, Britain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Germany. When not glued to her work Kristen enjoys being active including running, hiking and yoga.
